Golden Arrow with BBStop as Filter MT4 Strategy is atrend followin trading System for MT4.

Setup

1. Indicators Required

Golden Arrow Indicator
- Generates BUY and SELL arrows.
BBStop Indicator
- Displays a trailing-style band (blue for bullish, red for bearish).
  
  Used as the trend filter (default setting).

2. Core Concept

The strategy enters trades only when a Golden Arrow signal is aligned with the BBStop trend color.
This helps filter out false signals and keeps entries aligned with the market direction. There are two arrows.

3. Market Conditions

Recommended Timeframes: M5, M15, M30, H1

Best use: trending or momentum conditions

Avoid: extremely choppy markets with rapid BBStop color flips.

4. Entry Rules

BUY Conditions

Enter a Buy when ALL conditions are met:

A Green/Up Golden Arrow appears on the chart.
BBStop is BLUE, indicating bullish trend.
Price is above the blue BBStop line.
Optional confirmation:
- Price breaks a local structure high.
  
  Candle closes above a small consolidation.

➡ Buy Entry:
At the close of the candle where the Golden Arrow appears and BBStop is blue.

SELL Conditions

Enter a Sell when ALL conditions are met:

A Red/Down Golden Arrow appears.
BBStop is RED, indicating bearish trend.
Price is below the red BBStop line.
Optional confirmation:
- Price breaks a local structure low.
- Candle closes below a consolidation area.

➡ Sell Entry:
At the close of the arrow signal candle, with BBStop red.

5. Stop Loss Placement

Choose one of the following:

Option A – BBStop Line

Buy: SL below the blue BBStop band

Sell: SL above the red BBStop band

Option B – Candle Structure

Use the low/high of the signal candle or the previous swing.

6. Take Profit Targets

The chart shows multiple TP levels. You may use:

Conservative

TP1: 1:1 RR

TP2: 1:1.5 RR

TP3: 1:2 RR

Moderate Trend Riding

Set TP at the next swing level.
Partial close at TP1, trail remainder using BBStop.

Aggressive Trend Riding

Trail stop using BBStop color change

Exit when BBStop flips color.

7. Exit Rules

Buy Exit

BBStop turns red, or

Opposite Sell Golden Arrow appears.

Sell Exit

BBStop turns blue, or

Opposite Buy Golden Arrow appears.

8. Recommended Filters

You can increase accuracy by avoiding:

Major news events

Ranging markets with frequent BBStop color flips

Entries too far from the BBStop line (overextended price)

9. Example Summary (Based on Your Image)

A BUY arrow was only taken when BBStop turned blue.

SELL arrows were valid when price stayed under the red BBStop band.

Multiple TP levels were plotted below/above the entry, consistent with TP1–TP7 levels.

10. Strategy Notes

Works on Forex, Indices, Metals, Crypto.
Best on markets with session momentum (London, NY).
Simple, clean, rule-based confirmation system.

Currency pairs: any;

Metatrader Indicators:

RSX -MA FullSSA;

Moving average 34 period smoothed;

Bollinger Bands (30:2).

Trade only in Trend.

When MA 34 is<middle bollinger bands Trend is up.

When MA 34 is>middle bollinger bands Trend is down.

Rules

Long Entry:

MA 34 is>middle bollinger bands;

RSX -MA FullSSA cross upward.

Short Entry:

MA 34 is<middle bollinger bands;

RSX -MA FullSSA cross downward.

Exit position is discretionary.
