Buy and Sell 5 min strategy is a strategy based on a range filter which is filtered by the Supertrend as a trend filter. The signals are generated when the two indicators are in agreement, thus increasing the level of both filter and aggression.
Setup
The system is configured to work at a 5 minute time frame but the 15 and 30 minute time frame can also be used.
Financial instruments: Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ethereum, GBP / USD, GBP / JPY, AUDUSD, NZDUSD, AUDJPY, GBPCAD, USDJPY, EURAUD, EURCAD, EURJPY, stocks.
TradingView indicators:
Pivot Point Supertrend: 2-3-10.
Range Filter Buy and Sell 5 min Strategy (default setting).
Trading Rules Buy and Sell 5 min Strategy
The position is always entered when the two indicators are in agreement.
Buy
Pivot Supertrend buy arrow.
Range filter buy arrow.
Sel
Pivot Supertrend sell arrow.
Range filter sell arrow.
Exit position
Exit at the opposite arrow or when Pivot SuperTrend changes position.
Place initial stop loss below/above the line of the Pivot Supertrend.
You can also use a predetermined Profit Target in relation to the pairs.
