Explosion Breakout, is Dynamic Channel Breakout strategy for trading in the volatility market (as Nasdaq 100, Vix Index, Boom and Crash and volatile currency pairs). The Strategy is based on Envelopes and Bollinger bands for the to catch the price explosions. This template is for any trading platform desktop and mobile. In this case I present it to you on mobile MT4, but it is also good on MT5 and TradingView. The strategy is based on the multi time frame, in other words the direction of the trend is established by the 4H or daily time frame.
Time Frame 15 min, 30 min, 60 min. H4.
Currency Pairs: Volatility Pairs, Nasdaq 100, Vix Index.
Simple moving average 12 period. close,
Bollinger Bands 20 period, deviation 1.0 shift 10 periods.
Envelopes 10 period. The envelope is formed by two moving averages. Envelopes define the upper and the lower margins of the price range.
RSI 9, periods, close.
Trading Rules Explosion from the channels Nasdaq 100, Vix Index, Boom and Crash
Go at H4 from trading at 15 or 30 minutes.
If the trend is up, trade only long.
if the trend is down, trade only short.
To define the trend apply the same rules of entry into position explained below.
Go 15 or 30 minutes chart.
Daily Time frame filter trend for trade at H1 or H4.
The price breaks and close above the upper band of the Bollinger Bands and the upper band of envelope.
The price is above the simple moving average 13 periods.
RSI (9) period is above of 50 level.
The price breaks and close below the lover band of the Bollinger Bands and the lower band of envelope.
The price is below the simple moving average 13 periods.
RSI (9) period is below of 50 level.
Place initial stop loss on the previous swing high/low.
Exit position at the opposite signal.
