The Dark Inversion Trend strategy is a visual, trend-following method designed for scalping or intraday trading. It utilizes a combination of two indicators:

• Dark Inversion (default settings)

  Half Trend (Amplitude: 10)

This strategy works across any currency pair and is best suited for timeframes of 5 minutes or higher (M5, M15, H1, etc.).

Setup

• Platform: MT5

  Indicators:

  • Dark Inversion (buy/sell arrows)

    Half Trend (amplitude = 10, shows trend direction & dynamic support/resistance)

  Timeframes: M5, M15, H1 (scalping to short-term swing)

Trading Rules

Buy Entry

Enter a Buy when:

1. A green up arrow (Dark Inversion) appears below a candle.

2. Price is above the Half Trend blue line.

3. Preferably, previous trend direction has just changed from bearish to bullish.

Confirmation (optional):

• Bullish engulfing candle.

  Volume increase.

Sell Entry

Enter a Sell when:

1. A red down arrow (Dark Inversion) appears above a candle.

2. Price is below the Half Trend line (orange/blue).

3. Ideally, Half Trend has just flipped from bullish to bearish.

Confirmation (optional):

• Bearish engulfing candle.

  Lower high formation.

Note: Maximum two entries in the same direction

Exit Rules

Take Profit Options

• Set TP at nearest support/resistance or a fixed pip target (e.g., 20–40 pips).

  Or trail the position using the Half Trend line (exit if price closes on the opposite side).

Stop Loss

• Just below Half Trend line for buy trades.

  Just above Half Trend line for sell trades.

  OR use a fixed SL (e.g., 10–15 pips) depending on the timeframe.

Conclusion

This strategy aims to follow clear trends and filter false breakouts using both arrow-based signals and the Half Trend filter. Ideal for traders who want a visually clean, disciplined system. Always backtest and forward test before going live.
