This trading strategy is designed for MetaTrader 4 (MT4) and is based on the combination of two visual indicators:

• Donchian Channel Reversal (with buy/sell arrows),

  Buy & Sell Zone (background color filter).

The strategy focuses on reversal trading in volatile currency pairs, using confirmation from both indicators to improve accuracy and reduce false signals.

Setup

Platform: MetaTrader 4 (MT4)
Market: Forex
Currency Pairs: Volatile pairs (e.g. GBPUSD, GBPJPY, EURJPY, XAUUSD)
Timeframes: M15, M30, H1 (recommended)

Indicators Used

1. Donchian Channel Reversal

   • Provides Buy and Sell arrows when a potential reversal occurs.

2. Buy & Sell Zone Indicator

   • Displays colored background zones:

     • Green = Buy Zone

     • Red = Sell Zone

Trading Rules

Buy Rules

Open a BUY trade when all the following conditions are met:

1. A Buy arrow appears from the Donchian Channel Reversal indicator.

2. The background color is Green, indicating a Buy Zone.

3. Price shows rejection or reversal from the lower Donchian area.

4. No strong resistance directly above the entry (optional filter).

Stop Loss

• Below the recent swing low
  or

  Below the lower Donchian Channel

Take Profit

• Fixed Risk–Reward ratio (1:2 or 1:3).

  Or opposite Donchian Channel level.

Sell Rules

Open a SELL trade when all the following conditions are met:

1. A Sell arrow appears from the Donchian Channel Reversal indicator.

2. The background color is Red, indicating a Sell Zone.

3. Price shows rejection or reversal from the upper Donchian area.

4. No strong support directly below the entry (optional filter).

Stop Loss

• Above the recent swing high
  or

• Above the upper Donchian Channel.

TakeProfit

• Fixed Risk–Reward ratio (1:15 or 1:1.3).

  Or opposite Donchian Channel level.

EMAAngle > 0.33

Place an Buy order when the prices retraces on the EMA5.

Short Entry

EMAAngle < -0.33

Place an sell order when the price retraces on the EMA5.

Exit position:

Stop Loss on the level of the EMA 30

Profit Target on the pivot levels or predetermined PT.
