Vector Entry trading strategy is designed to identify high‑probability sell setups by combining higher‑timeframe bias, market structure shifts, momentum confirmation, and institutional concepts such as Fair Value Gaps. The goal is to enter only when the market shows clear signs of a bearish reversal supported by strong technical confluence.

1. Higher Timeframe Bias (4H)

The first step is to establish the dominant market direction. A down arrow and a Level 4 Box must appear on the 4‑hour chart. This zone represents a high‑timeframe resistance or supply area. The ET Bands indicator should also print a blue down arrow, confirming a potential major bearish reversal zone.

2. Confirmation of Bearish Momentum

The initial sell move must be strong and impulsive. This movement creates a 4‑hour Bearish Fair Value Gap, indicating that price moved too quickly and left unfilled institutional orders. Price must also fall below the Half‑Trend indicator, confirming that bearish momentum is active.

3. Market Structure Shift

The low created during the setup must break the previous higher low. This confirms a transition from bullish structure to bearish structure and validates the shift in trend direction.

4. Refinement on the M30 Timeframe

Switch to the 30‑minute chart to refine the entry. Price must remain below the Half‑Trend indicator, ensuring that the bearish bias is still intact.

5. Pullback Into the Premium Zone

Wait for price to retrace upward. The pullback should return into the 4‑hour Bearish Fair Value Gap and toward the Half‑Trend line. During this retracement, price may temporarily close above the Half‑Trend indicator. This is not a buy signal. It simply indicates a corrective move where price is rebalancing inefficiency and tapping into institutional sell orders.

6. Rejection and Confirmation

Look for clear signs of rejection inside the 4‑hour Bearish Fair Value Gap. Blue Wave arrows should appear, and a new down arrow should print. This confluence confirms that sellers are defending the zone and that the pullback is ending.

7. Trade Execution

Enter a sell position after a bearish confirmation candle closes. Price must close below both the Half‑Trend indicator and the 4‑hour Bearish Fair Value Gap. This confirms that sellers have regained control and that the downtrend is resuming.

8. Risk Management

The stop loss should be placed above the 4‑hour Bearish Fair Value Gap. Take profit targets can be set at a risk‑reward ratio of 1:2, 1:2.5, or 1:3, depending on volatility and nearby demand zones.
