239# Dark Point Strategy for MT5

The Dark Point Strategy is a trend momentum trading approach designed for MetaTrader 5 (MT5). It utilizes the Dark Point indicator along with additional trend momentum indicators for confirmation.

Strategy Setup:

Timeframe: 3 minutes or higher.
Currency Pairs: Any.
Platform: MT5.

If you use the 3 or 5 minute indicator it is recommended to use it only during the New York session.

Indicators Used:
- Dark Point Indicator (default settings): Generates trading signals with three profit targets and stop loss levels.
- Dr Trend (ATR 2.5): Can be used as a trailing stop to follow the trade.
- Colour Candles MACD (default settings).
- Blau Jurik Filter (default settings): Check DDL to activate the indicator.

Trading Rules:

Buy Entry:

A buy signal is generated by the Dark Point indicator.
At least two of the following confirmation conditions must be met:
1. Supertrend aligns with the buy direction of the signal.
2. Candles are green.
3. Jurik crosses upwards or is greater than zero.

Sell Entry:

A sell signal is generated by the Dark Point indicator.
At least two of the following confirmation conditions must be met:
1. Supertrend aligns with the sell direction of the signal.
2. Candles are red.
3. Jurik crosses downwards or is less than zero.

Exit Strategy:

The take profit and stop loss levels are displayed on the main chart by the Dark Point indicator.
It is recommended to place the initial stop loss as indicated on the chart by the indicator.
Optionally, traders can use the Supertrend indicator as a trailing stop to manage the trade dynamically.

This strategy is designed to leverage trend momentum indicators for increased accuracy and trade efficiency, making it suitable for traders using MT5.
